These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Pitchnotes ("we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the Pitchnotes website and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
This is a proof-of-concept / early-access version of the Service. Features, availability, and these Terms may change frequently and without extensive notice as we develop the product.
Pitchnotes is a platform for sharing long-form football scouting and tactical analysis writing with other fans.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Accounts are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred, or shared.
We reserve the right to reclaim or require changes to usernames that impersonate others, infringe rights, or are otherwise inappropriate (for example, registering "PremierLeague" or a club's name).
Deleting your account may permanently remove your Contributions from the Service, although copies may remain in backups for a limited period as described below.
"Contributions" means any writing, analysis, comments, or other material you post through the Service.
You agree not to:
Aside from your Contributions, all content, branding, design, and code that make up the Service belong to Pitchnotes or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit them without our written permission.
Copyright infringement. If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us and we will investigate and, where appropriate, remove the material.
Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
The Service may link to third-party websites or content. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party content, and linking to it doesn't mean we endorse it.
This is an early-stage proof of concept. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and scouting analysis on the platform reflects individual contributor opinion, not professional or guaranteed advice.
We are under no obligation to continue operating the Service or to maintain any particular feature.
We aren't responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example, internet outages, hosting provider failures, or natural disasters).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pitchnotes and its officers, employees, and agents won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of £50 or the total fees you paid us during the six months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
Because this is a proof of concept, we may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. We'll try to give notice of material changes to the Terms; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
